WebzavodProject

The solution WebzavodProject is a hybrid scenario of using Microsoft technologies and products: Project Online, Project Professional, Office 365 – SharePoint Online, Excel & Excel Services, Azure, Windows 8 App:

• Project Online and Project Professional are used by the Engineering Office specialists to create construction plans based on specialized templates
• A simplified data input interface for supervisors is placed in Office 365 and is based on the SharePoint Online lists. There is also a feature of working with the lists in offline mode using the developed Windows 8 App
• Program code hosted in Windows Azure synchronizes the data in Project Online and SharePoint Online lists in the format suitable for the builders. We have studied the way our customers work: instead of Project time and task percent complete, the builders use measureable work values – cubic meters of concrete, square meters of tile etc.
• Report on project delays is created in Excel and can be used in browser with the Excel Services functions

The solution is not industry-tied and can be interesting for any customer with complicated project goals including project roles (designer, team leader, workforce etc.), and geographically distributed projects. 

The solution is characterized by minimum programing – it uses the features of products for planning (Project Online), reporting (Excel), form creation (SharePoint Online). The customer does not depend on the code developer and can upgrade the system independently.
